DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) Maybe after my miserable attempts on two wheels, this is what I should be doing; A Women’s Cycling Training Camp. The first one was held at the end of January and the second one is 23rd/ 24th Feb. in the Avon Ri Centre, Blessington, Co. Wicklow (you get to use their pool and gym too!)

Cycling Ireland are holding two training camps for women cyclists and will have Aidan Ryan, CI Coach of the Year, in attendance to work specifically with mountain bikers, there will be specific road biking coaches there too.
This camp is not aimed at elite cyclists, but anyone who wishes to improve their cycling, or to learn more about mountain biking or road biking. It will be suitable for all levels and all ages including complete beginners. I will be there and if there is enough interest can do a session on how cycling can be used to improve your hill running performance.
They will also have a sports physiologist, sports nutritionist and a sports psychologist in attendance over the weekend to give talks and answer any specific enquiries.

The cost is €100 and that includes accommodation, dinner, lunch, speakers and coaches.
To sign up & for further information, email: womens.cycling.ireland@gmail.com or call 085 7399603 (Alex Dobbs) or 086 2500754 (Orla Hendron) 0876286296(Beth McCluskey)elizabeth.mccluskey@dit.ie
