DUBLIN, IRELAND (Geared Up Blog) - Well at last it’s out! I think i may have to invest in one of these little toys if i end up going to Switzerland for the summer. Arc’teryx have brought out a whole new range of harnesses this year that look amazing. I’ve spoken to a few people who have actually gotten to wear them and they couldn’t stop singing their praises. Any reviews online have been good as well from what i’ve seen. The only downside as with all of Arc’teryx’s gear is the price! The one i’m interested in is the A•300a, pictured above, which is designed for Mountaineering and Ski touring. Although some reviews have said you could quite happily wear it whilst climbing in t-shirt and shorts(which i do very little of I’m ashamed to say)!

There is a good review of the harnesses worth reading here and at Alpinist.
