Team Geared Up

 

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) Dates have just been announced for the very popular Dublin Duathlon Series which starts next month. This year Belpark Tri Club and Trinity College Tri Club have teamed up to organise what is being touted as “the best duathlon series to date” - http://www.dublintri.com/duathlon.html. I did one of these last year, my first ever attempt at a duathlon, and found the event a blast. The course in the Phoenix Park was excellent and the race was extremely well organised. For would-be triathletes this is a great way to be introduced to the sport and find out, as in my case, how changeovers never go as smoothly as planned and why going from cycling to running is not as easy as it sounds.  For more experienced heads, the standard is always high, so the races are very competitive.
