LIMERICK, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) - I know Aisling had a brief post about this a few weeks ago but there have been a few developments since.
It turns out the rumours have been true - Irelands best climbing wall has opened in Dingle, Co. Kerry blowing everything that has gone before it out of the water. They’ve also mentioned a number of Competition events to be held at the centre over the coming months that should quite frankly be pretty cool, especially if they include a lead competition.
I think the youtube clip speaks for itself, but more info can be found at www.playatheight.com

Good stuff Nigel! And it’s great to know it’s a wall owned by a climber rather than the board of a gym.
(p.s. I added a picture and embedded the youtube for you)
Wow that looks great.
Is there anything similar in Dublin does anybody know?
Not similar in size to that, but the walls are all listed on climbing.ie…
Cheers Robin.
I’ll check it out.
hey i want to go to playatheight with my transition year class for a day. is this possible?
Emily, just give them a call. I know they cater for groups :-)
Will you write us a review afterwards? Some photos would be excellent too.
