Team Geared Up

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) Today’s Irish Times Magazine has a feature on Ireland’s first World Series Adventure Race, The Turas. Right now they’re all assembling in kerry and I’d imagine doing last minute checks on the enormous amounts of gear they have to bring. And biting their nails. ;-)

Next Saturday, 30 teams from 15 countries will fight sleep deprivation, hunger and exhaustion as they tear around the rugged landscape of Cork and kerry for the Turas, the Irish round of the multidisciplinary Adventure Racing World Series.

The articles/ photos feature Melanie Earwaker, the Irish AR Denny Team of Bob Boles, Roisin MC Donnell, Brian Keogh and Chris Caulfield and a feature on An Turas beag the 50km circuit race last month. Go buy it, it’s worth a read. ;-)
