Team Geared Up

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) As previously blogged, our own friend of TGU, Avril Copeland, is in Montana to take part in Primal Quest 2008, one of the most challenging endurance races in the world. From Avril herself:

Greetings from sunny Montana!! Its amazing, the sun is out, however the peaks are full of snow. We went through gear check and skills check today and now have tomorrow to relax, which is brilliant. Most of the teams have arrived and there is a great buzz around. I suppose the fact that we are going to be out for ten days hasn’t really hit us yet!!!

We all bought our bear spray today. We are hearing lots of bear sighting stories and and also they are trying to clear avalanche hazards at the moment. I’m more worried about the bears and have my bear spray ready to go in its holster … :)
