Aisling and Neal at Wicklow Way Relay |
DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) Neal and I are taking part in the IMRA Wicklow Way relay tomorrow. At this stage EVERYONE should have run their route (yes Neal ;-8) and be familiar enough with it that they’re comfortable and know their way around, it’s fairly common to get lost! As late as this morning myself and Karen ran leg 1, that’s us in the photo above at Curtlestown Forest this morning! It’s not just the running of the route, it’s the shuttling cars from beginning to end and so on. Anyway our all-girly team of hill runners is again hoping for a top ten finish at least!
All that’s left to do is enjoy the day (and beat Neal’s team). It’s a pity we’re not running the same leg Neal, gimme a chance to kick your ass! ;-)

Ha! Aisling, I can guarantee you’d kick my ass at present as I’m not running much at present. And I can also guarantee that it’s highly likely I’ll get lost too :)

Neal is officially banned from hill running for running such a good leg (without recce-ing it) & generally being one of those annoying “take-u-a-new-sport-and-kick-everyones-ass-as-it” people! We will have u removed from the next race Neal! ;)
Hey Jackie! Did you get injured, I heard mention of stitches but never got to see you?!! Did you do the Wicklow 200 today?
