Irish Mountain Running: Hellfire and Charity Cycle

Written by aislingc

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) Last year’s IMRA Leinster League was a bit of a wash-out with rain but just look at the crackin’ sunshine we’re having now. Tonight’s race is extra extra extra special……not simply because I’m race director for this evening’s Hellfire and Brimstone mountain race. Not only will you get a chance to sample the TGU bars but you can support a good cause while doing it! Fellow mountain runner and all round super athlete Turlough Conway, 3rd man in last Sunday’s Black Mountain race, is doing a 70k cycle in aid of Women’s Aid and by purchasing the bars you’ll be supporting the cause. If you’re feeling extra generous head on over to Women’s Aid Fundraising Events or Turlough’s fundraising page and empty your wallet! :-)

Energy Bars!

C’mon out and enjoy running round the mountains in sunshine while supporting a good cause! (But make sure to carpool!)

Bars look yum!

Can’t wait to see a photo of 100 stickers!

ha ha, they’re all wrapped up but here’s a sneak preview:

Thanks for the reminder to carpool, though that would be a bit difficult for me. :-)

I agree with Robin that the TGU bars look great. When can I expect to see them stateside?

When the ink is dry on the “Power Bar” contract, you’ll be the first one to get a year’s supply Bryon. ;-)

Thanks a million for organising this Aisling and Tony. Ive told them at Womensaid and they’re delighted with the 200.
Those bars are the business!
