Trail Running Soul |

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) I’ve long been a fan of Trail Running Soul. It’s one of those websites with lots of interesting stuff on all things to do with the outdoors and running! It’ll cover ultra events and marathons and also has great pointers on nutrition and stretching and running injury free. According to the Editor:
Poking around the web I realized there are really not that many sites where you can get information on trail running. Not personal blogs or events and races lists, but a place where you can get pills of information all in the same place. Somewhere where beginners can read some tips and start off with the right foot. Somewhere to get advise on your next purchase or learn how to push your training to the limit. All in all, just my small contribution on gathering all the knowledge out there on this beautiful sport. I hope you enjoy it.
It’s great for a browse as they find relevant articles from around the web and post them. I guarantee you’ll find something new there!

Glad that you like the site, Aisling. TeamGearedUp is one of the first outdoor sources that I discovered and is in my RSS reader since then. So I guess the admiration is mutual! :)
Cheers

Team Geared Up,
I just discovered your website at Trailrunning Soul. What an amazing collection of international athletes and stories you have. I want to jump in a plane and run the mountains of Ireland! Keep up the great work - I’m now a subscriber.
Happy trails,
Bryon

Hey Bryon
I’ve been reading iRunfar (http://irunfar.blogspot.com/) this afternoon, it’s brilliant. I’m amazed I haven’t come across it before. Love your review of the La Sportiva trail shoe, the caffeine post and the simplifying your life one. I’ll keep reading……….I’m glued! Anytime you want to jump on the plane and run some mountains here let us know!

Robin,
I’ve got a local story in mind to share with you.
Aisling,
Glad you like iRunFar. :-) As you can tell, it’s turned into a little community, so feel free to leave a comment whenever you like.
I’m so tempted to go pack my gear, hit the airport, and be running the Irish mountains by tomorrow. I’d also love to run across Ireland someday… though my plan to do so fueled entirely by Guinness may make the going a bit more difficult.

@Bryon,
Can you mail it to one of us with some pics?
