It has to be a nice creamy pint of guinness, for me. Ideally with a toasted ham and cheese sambo with mustard. Cleanly shaven, wearing freshly ironed clothes, dry socks, and even a sneaky bit of gel in the hair.

Also, actually having a wardrobe is great, its nice to not have to pack your life into a bag every morning after breakfast.

It makes you wonder, is it as much about returning from the journey as it is about the journey itself?

Which brings this to mind;
"We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time."
T.S. Eliot

I initially was going to say a cold fizzing pint glass of Coke with ice crackling as it melts! I have had unreal urges for that on a hot 3-day in the mountains.

As I mentioned in my blog post on this, I miss cold drinks and ice. Seems trivial, until you go without it for awhile. And in the Sahara desert. ;)
