DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) Forgive me if this looks slightly off-topic for us but really….it’s a sleeping bag! A sleeping bag you can walk round in and it’s called Selk’Bag. (It reminded me of this!)

If you’re wondering where the name Selk’bag comes from it’s from the Chilean word for a nomad, a Selk’nam. They had great resilience for the cold and so the name was born.
Total Weight: 1750 GSM.
Filling: Polyester Mico Fibre, 2X100g/sqm, Soft Preformed padding, extreme even and soft, high performance.
Shell / Lining: 66 Nylon 310t / 40 X 40 deniers, soft touch
Extreme Temp: -9.8 Degrees Celsius*
Limit Temp: +4.4 Degrees Celsius*
Comfort Temp: +8.8 Degrees Celsius*
Sizes: Small / Medium or Large / Extra Large

They’re available from LazyBone. Don’t they look like Jelly Babies?

haha! I saw this recently too and had it as a post idea for a quiet news day! It’s funny hey! Not sure it’s in anyway practical i nthe same way a mitt varies in heat from a glove.

And if it’s designed for the super cold, you just try getting into that before changing/removing layers!!! or putting on a pair of trousers before unzipping!
