Lakai’s Fully Flared Intro |
ZURICH, SWITZERLAND (Team Geared Up) - Even though not directly related to a sports or skateboarding story I felt that I had to share this intro to the new skateboard video (Fully Flared) with you because it’s so impressive! Awesome explosions, enjoy!
Directed by Spike Jonze for Lakia’s Fully Flared intro, its a pretty amazing intro.
Apparently from this interview the explosions are real.

Nice one, thats a great video. The stunts are pretty full on, and the music is excellent too, much better than the angry teenager punky stuff that usually accompanies “extreme” videos.
So what is the material they’re blowing up? Chunks of concrete would knock you out!
I’m assuming its some kinda foam thing, maybe cork, maybe some really frail wood stuff.
