Indoor Climbers: Give Yourself a Woody |
SINGAPORE (Team Geared Up) - Instructables is a site that shows you user submitted instructions on how to build things. Anything at all!
I found a massive selection of Instructables on how to build a Woody (a term used to describe a home-built indoor climbing wall!). They go from the straight-forward practical to the the truly bizzare mini top-roping wall in this stair-well.
I used to trawl home-built climbing wall sites when I used to climb more. I really wanted one in my bedroom so bad - I settled on a finger board. Looking back - it was ridiculous. Thanks for stopping me ruining your walls dad!
One person who doesn’t need to know how to build a wall is Neal who’s involved in building Dublin’s new Climbing Wall Co-Op.
