Team Geared Up

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) What a cracking finish to the women’s ING New York Marathon! It doesn’t get much better! She had Wami on her heels the entire way and in the last 800 Paula seemed to kick! I watched the race in the pub at the National Athletics Stadium in Santry and there was an audible gasp! as Wami seemed to get past her and pull away! Then a huge cheer as Paula fought back! Big cheers then as she looked to be comfortably heading to the finish line in Central Park fighting all the way to the line in a time of 2:23:08! I’ve scoured youtube but can’t find anything up yet of the finish. Martin Lel won the mens in 2:09:04.
