The Wheel of Life (V16/F8c+) 2nd ascent

Written by nealmcq

NEWBRIDGE, KILDARE (Team Geared Up) - In what really looks like a route, 2 meters off the ground (that’s about 6 foot for the non-metric folks about there :), Chris Webb Parsons has climbed what is theoretically the world’s current hardest problem. I got tired looking at it…..

As the UKclimbing sites query, can you really grade it as a boulder problem as it’s almost 70 moves long? Who cares, it looks amazing!

Neal - added a video still to show up in the previews. also added ‘rock climbing’ tag so it shows in that category. Great to see content comign from an Irish blog aka Evil Phil

Nice going. what are you using for getting the video still (please don’t say ‘prnt-srn’ :)?

And definitely great to see the Irish blogs being busy. My Greader is getting a little full these days……

It’s ‘Skitch’ on mac. but it’s not far off Screen-Print! (just allows for post cropping and easy web upload). http://myskitch.com/robinb/

I’ll try send you a similar windows tool from my XP latop in the morning (if I remember!). It freezes the screen, and lets you crop.

don’t worry, I’ve converted to Macs as of early this year :) best thing I ever did with a computer!

Sent you a Skitch invite for your mac. It’s my blogging killer app!

Thanks for link Neal.

Perhaps I should expand into the greater bouldering world instead of just blogging about my faffing around :)

don’t do that, you’ll put me out of work ;)
Keep it up though, always great to hear what others are up to while climbing in Ireland
