Team Geared Up

LONDON, UK (Team Geared Up) - Outsider Magazine are running a feature on the the Irish team MTB team for the Mountain Biking World Championships in Fort William. From Ireland - Robin Seymour (riding in the elite men’s cross-country), Niall Davis, Conor McConvey (under 23’s), Beth McCluskey and Tarja Owens with compete against 750 riders from 50 other countries.

Outsider’s Ben Marchant was lucky enough to don helmet and pad up for an adrenalin-fuelled sneak preview of the cross-country and downhill courses for the upcoming competition:

…it did throw up the odd surprise such as a steep drop over bedrock at the top of the course which I’ll be honest and say I walked as it seemed like a near vertical drop of about five feet after a blind corner.
