Team Geared Up

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) This has to be one of the best adventure racing events of the year by all accounts. Gael Force West consists of two events; Gael Force 6 and Gael Force 12. Gael Force 6, the shorter of the two, will:

follow last year’s course from Little Killary back to Westport, via a kayaking leg on Killary Harbour and an ascent and descent of the mighty Croagh Patrick.

And if that doesn’t sound like enough of a challenge, Gael Force 12 stretches from 170 to 200km over 4 stages. Navigation and self sufficiency are key elements to this bike/ kayak/ run event which starts tomorrow. Good luck to all the competitors heading West for this unique event!
