Rare repeat of E6 in Ireland |
![]()
WANAKA, NEW ZEALAND (Team Geared Up) - I unfortunately missed this one as it’s almost 4 weeks ago now, but it definitely deserves a mention. Local Burren climbing website, Ailladie.com, is reporting that Gregor (the site’s author) has succeeded on a rare repeat of Sunbane (E6 6b/c, 5.12c) in the Burren, Ireland.
It looks like there’s been a few people very active over the summer from the reports - obviously the weather hasn’t been completely terrible!
Nice going for Gregor, especially as he’s only taken up traditional climbing (sport beforehand) since moving to Ireland.
