Rescue: Yacht Drifts 2 Weeks in Atlantic |
DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) - We got a message that a yacht has been spotted by an Irish Air corps plane drifting 68 miles off the west coast of Ireland with no mast and had previously done a few capsizes.
The yacht had left the West Indies over 2 weeks ago ad had lost all radio contact (Did they not have a EPIRB?). 2 crew were rescued by Valentia lifeboat. Good job.
