They are the best shoes out there. Can use them for anything and everything, they are a must have! I have a pair of sprints but prefer my classics, and after the few days of getting used to them it is almost impossible to wear anything else! They can be grabbed in from the US, but www.fivefingers.co.uk in the UK now do them and they are good.

Great site and great blog, CP77

I own the Kayakshed and www.kayakshed.com we have been selling them for a couple years now ( I think we were one of Vibrams first stores) Since then, I've purchased both the five fingers classic as well as the sprints for myself. I can't tell you how much I love 'em! They were not what I expected. I thought I would only use them for water applications (Kayaking obviously). Turns out I use them more for all sorts of things including yard work. They are tough to fit. We have a sizing chart on our site that works well. However if you're in between 2 sizes. Buy both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit. They are tricky to fit and they do get easier to put on after you have put them on 2 or 3 times.
Good luck and enjoy! http://www.kayakshed.com/vibramfivefingers.cfm

I have a pair with the top strap. Use them for walking, bit of running on soft stuff.

They are great, you get some odd looks, and once or twice a question as to what they are for.

The sensation of walking through a woodland and feeling all the terrain is just great.

Oddly I feel much more stable than wearing walking boots, and totally different muscles get used.

I bought mine the US. When they come out here, then try them

I've had a pair of these for a while and had to retire them because that top strap really starts to cut into the top of my foot. The strap is made from a rubbery material that is not really suited to sweat, grit and skin. I've gone back to the classic style. That's just my take.

Love the blog,
