Team Geared Up

LONDON, UK (Team Geared Up) - Yes, It’s possible! Eoin & myself left his car at Glenmacnass Waterfall and headed off into the evening with a rope & two full packs complete with down bags & bivvi gear. On route we had 3 revelations…

1. Stay in huts in the Alps - even bivvi gear is heavy when combined with alpine kit.
2. Hire a car over there - car’s are great to come back to & leave gear in.
3. We’re pretty quick together, even tied in. So why are we stopping to bivvi?

The 3rd revelation meant we decided to ditch the bivvi and walk through darkness under head torches to complete the 2-day route by midnight. We culminated the night by ditching our bags behind a wall and completing a 2.5km road run back to the car (me in ridged winter boots too!).
