It would have been great to meet you there Eoin, but you would have been waiting a long time! The good thing about Prince William’s Seat is that there is a “yellow brick road” all the way up and down, not like other mountains which are wildernesses!

Great report by Tony on the imra site. I volunterred to Joe to be a marshall at the top of Prince William’s Seat! It doesnt sound like it would have been a very pleasant wait in the rain and cold.

Hi Robin.
No my feet were fine, not a bother, I find Salomons great even if the lace did break!
I had no issues with my legs either I really wanted to continue. There was only two of us, myself and Tony willing to continue. WIt was thought to be just too dangerous to travel in two’s in that weather with limited visibility on open mountain so we couldn’t go on.
I’m gutted, I didn’t want to stop and it’s not a decision I’ve come to terms with just yet.
Gutted……

That’s crazy! We were on the N6 to Galway in some serious rainfall and were thinking of you on a summit!

Also crazy that Glenmacnass was where me & Eoin pulled out after 21hrs of the ‘56′.
