I have experienced some serious weather in it and it does the job. The after sales is excellent by Crux themselves. I have had snow skirts sewn into the front porch for very little extra cost. I have also bought the X2 Storm fly sheet which fits on the Bomb inner and just increases the versatility of the tent massively. You will not be disappointed if you buy this tent.

The X2 Storm is compatible with the same inner as the X2 Bomb. The storm is the bombs little sister and shares the same fly material and vent positions and main guy points but that’s where things stop. The Storm is a well built tent but I would only class it as a 4 season tent rather than the 5 season that the Bomb is.

Just had snow-skirts fitted to both my Storm and my Bomb as i was experiencing a bit of spindrift build up in the front vestibules. A worthwhile addition which was taken care of by the nice folk at Crux.uk.com
