Breaking News: Irish Woman Summits Everest |

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) - Irish Woman Hannah Shields is standing on the summit of Everest! Hannah is the first woman from Northern Ireland to manage this summit. She got to 300ft from the same point 4 years ago.
A Co Derry athlete has become the first Northern Ireland woman to conquer Mount Everest.
41-year-old Hannah Shields was part of a team which made it to the top of the world’s highest peak yesterday morning.
Four years ago she abandoned a previous attempt to climb Mt Everest, the world’s highest mountain.
