This weekend….. |
DUBLIN, IRELAND (Team Geared Up) Things happening this weekend that don’t involve sitting on our arses:
There’s 3 Irish teams entered for the annual International Mountain Race in Knockdhu, Larne (Northern Ireland). For members of the teams it may be their first time in an Ireland vest and I think that will add greatly to the sense of occasion! (Particular good wishes to my Clonliffe-sisters Bronagh and Maura!)

On the roads theres the 30th anniversary of the RTE 5 miler, a real classic for us road runners! And it finishes on the set of this:

For race info. just google it: I’m not linking to the BHAA website cos it does strange things to my computer and I won’t be repsonsible for yours!
And just for links: is this new? It looks really good and I read about it on MAD. They have lots of cross country mountain biking news, info on trails etc. even though it’s probably in its infancy as some pages are ‘under construction’.
