Team Geared Up

LONDON (Geared Up Blog) - Ran Fiennes (and Mike Stroud) are my heros. I think I’ve read most of his books by now. Fantastic.

When talking about his frostbitten fingers:

The surgeon recommended leaving them on for 5 months, but after 4 it was too painful so I went down to to the village shop and bought a black & decker blade, and hacked them off in the tool shed. The physio said I did a fine job, but my surgeon wasn’t too happy.

He really is fantastic.
