Event: Tough Guy Race, British Army

Written by admin

LONDON (Geared Up Blog) - I know one person doing it, the annual Tough Guy race put on by the British Army. Looks great, I’d be well up for this. Watch the video clip on Reuters TV.

Jan. 28 - Over 4,000 people braved mud, ice cold water, and flames to prove that they are tough.

The Tough Guy race in Staffordshire, in the west of England, takes place over a two-mile long obstacle course designed by a former Grenadier Guardsman.

Competitors must wade through energy-sapping mud, negotiate flames, smoke bombs and taunting marshalls.

You can visit ToughGuy.co.uk for information. Make sure you check out the ‘course’ section. It’s fantastic!
