Extreme: Mountain Biking Cliffs Of Moher

Written by admin

LONDON (Geared Up Blog) - This is crazy stuff. The Adventure Blog points to the other Adventure blog who points to Team Hans Ray adventure racing group with some fantastic photos of them biking cliffs.

Turns out I recognise those cliffs as the cliffs of Moher, and have got confirmation they are infact on the cliffs of Moher in Ireland. This is INCREDIBLE footage.

Locals warned us of the upward drafts, that blow people off the cliffs - and sure enough the wind was picking up over night. We got an early start, and even the extra strong italian coffee I brewed couldn’t clear our heads. Even though the conditions and weather were less than good, this was our one and only chance to ride the cliffs, so we did. It was a rad feeling to ride along the exposed edges and jump over some of the gaps. As time went on we started to feel more and more comfortable and daring. Shortly after we got done it started pouring rain, nonetheless we continued the trail on top of the cliffs, which was one of the more spectacular trails I have ridden. We followed it all the way to Hag’s Head.

Reserving one of the Grand Canyon helicopter tours you’ll find online can be an interesting way to see the Grand Canyon, though for those who don’t want to get quite so high going on the Grand Canyon skywalk can also give you quite a nice view of the Grand Canyon and Colorado River.

Ohhhhhh.
Shortly afterwards the two cyclists were photoed changing their underpants……..

Funny that all the photos are right beside the carpark. It looks staged to me. What are the helmets for? Parachutes would be more useful.

Wow ! rather you than me !

Pic 3.. Camera flash fired…. no shadows!
Also… pic 3 travelling right to left. Pic 4 travelling left to right. Don’t imagine there’s a U turn, overtaking lane or roundabout built into the Cliffs of Moher!

recognise the bit they’re on, there is only a small bit there that exposed, ive walked it and nearly shat myself, this was STUPID!I live near these cliffs and people die every year sitting too close to edge. these pics are real, but f@ck sake, they are uneccessary. in my opinion, the pics would be staged a bit here, the trails around it are cool though

Once you have been there and have looked over the edge, you will see the yellow lime stone plateaus….. So it is definitely real. Would love to do this one day
