Outsider Launches New Site |
DUBLIN (Geared Up Blog) - Outsider, the irish outdoor magazine have launched their new site. I must say that i’m fairly impressed by it. The clear layout on the homepage does make it really easy to get to where you want to go when you can easily search by th topic or area you are most interested in. I know it’s only new but there is already quite a lot of content on the site. A new blog section could be an interesting one to keep an eye on. And also ads for wiggle.co.uk and rawoutdoors.co.uk. which are maybe not as well know as needlesports or rockandrun..etc will maybe stand by them and give them some press.
The site is really a new community for outdoor folk. Under your details there are loads of options for yourself to edit the site whether going to just add photos, write a blog, submit news stories, summit log or submit a new link. You can also view the other members details so you can find people who share common interests/ages….etc. I dont seem to be able to submit news or add to the summit log yet but that may be just because I have to be fully activated yet. My main complaint with the site is that once you login you seem to only be able to leave to site idle for a few minutes before it logs you out for inactivity, but i’m sure that’ll be sorted out soon enough. Anyway we’d love to hear what you think of their new site, so leave a comment below!
