Gadget: Mobiles2Go i-Kids GPS Phone |

DUBLIN (Geared Up Blog) - I did a university project designing a handset for an elderly user, now I see a company have released one for kids. And it’s super. Check out the Mobiles2Go - i-Kids.
It contains a GPS receiver so…
A one-touch emergency button allows your child to alert you immediately in times of distress and GPS features ensure you can pin-point their location to within 10-20 metres, in seconds.
Not only that but it allows you to get an SMS when your child leaves a ’safety zone’ you specify on a website.
And controlled dialing where the child can only call 4 preset numbers defined by the parent.
It’s so simple and perfect for the job without over-doing any feature sets. I like it & have been waiting to see a similar device for the elderly for some time now.
