When Alexander Abramov of 7Summit-club sent over a joint proposal he’d made with Himex about a rescue service on Everest north side; it seemed a good initiative but not everyone was thrilled. The rescue service would add to independent climbers’ already meager budgets; while upping the profit for commercial expeditions - who could save on logistics covered by their client fees.
