ShieldZone |

Received my ShieldZone for my nano last week. This is a new Sheild to protect your nano from all those scratches it so often gets. As you can see above it comes with the pieces already cut to size ready to stick down. First you peel away the protecter from the material its on and then you spray it with the bottle of liquid that comes with it. Then its very simple to apply onto the ipod. Just place down the shield cut outs for their varies pieces and its done. You also have to sqeeze the excess liquid out when its stuck down and get rid of the air bubbles but this is easily done.
The most difficult bit of the whole thing i found was when i had to peel off the bits in the beginning to cover the wheel and the central ipod button. But in terms of practicality my ipod now feels much safer because i have something on it to protect it. Pity my ipod was pretty bashed up beforehand but i’ve no fears now that it will get any worse. Also my friends have found with the the coloured covers for the nano it is very difficult to turn the wheel and select new music etc… but i think ShieldZone actually makes it easier to control the wheel. Most importantly for people i presume is that the screen still has the same clarity of vision which it certainly still does.
I will keep you updated on how it gets on with life in the outdoors and does it hold up over time but first impressions are good and i would definitely recommend buying this for you nano instead of any othet cover i’ve seen on the market thus far. Cheaper than the covers in HMV too! Photos to follow soon….
The invisibleSHIELDâ„¢ is a super-tough, thin, transparent film that we use to protect small electronic devices from scratches and dings. The film was originally developed for the military to protect helicopter blades from damage while spinning at hundreds of miles per hour. We custom design it to fit over 400 different gadgets… including iPods, cell phones, PDA screens, and more. It’s so tough, in fact, that we guarantee it will protect your gadgets for life, or we’ll replace it, free.
