Land Rover G4 Challenge |

The G4 challenge began last Sunday in Bangkok, Thailand. It lasts 28 days and travels from Asia to Brazil on May 5th to finish off. Dr.Gary Robertson will be representing Ireland and we wish him the very best of luck.
The Challenge, which lasts 28 days, will see the 16 men and two women 4×4 drive, climb, kayak, abseil, bike and navigate their way over 4000 km of varied terrain in four countries, across two continents.
After 8 tough days of racing the Competitors’ fears about the supremacy of the new Russian/Belgian partnership proved to be well-founded in spectacular fashion on the first day of the Challenge’s second Stage, with a crushing double victory for the super fit, compact duo. One of todays most impressive performances was the Irish Dutch alliance finishing in second place.
‘We’re delighted,’ said Gary Robertson. ‘We work well together; it’s going to be good. Like any relationship you bite your tongue occasionally and you learn. This event was good for strength and Thijs is so strong he could carry me.’
