Man lost into sea from path in Kerry |
RTE News have the story on this one:
A search is continuing off the coast of Co Kerry for a Dublin man who fell into the sea while walking on the shoreline of Ballinskellings Bay this afternoon.
The man and three companions were walking on a path close to Ballinaskellings Pier when, shortly after 2.30pm, the accident happened.
Rescue services, including the Shannon based coastguard helicopter, the Valencia lifeboat and a number of cliff and coast rescue teams, are at the scene.
The Valencia coastguard service says that all efforts to locate the man have so far been unsuccessful but the search operation will continue for several more hours.
Meanwhile in Wexford, the search continues:
Hundreds of people are now taking part in this massive search operation between Wexford and Waterford. The coastguard has around 120 people on land and sea searching.
Apparently, the vessel previously capsized in 1993. Hmmmmmmmmm…. suspiciously dodge.
