Agree. Service in the Patagonia store in Dublin is great. Even though providing you with a load of useful hints might be a good sales strategy, I think the Patagonia guys mean it - they love their products and they are all true outdoor men themselves!

PS: I don't work for Patagonia (yet ;o), but I really love their stuff !!!

Sinead. Sounds exactly like Patagonia to me!

Don't worry, stock won't run out.. it's constantly replenished with the seconds from the factory. As long as they keep getting seems not perfect, we'll get cheap gear!

The gene that expresses the retail protein has never been switched on with me but when I walked into Patagonia's store today on Exchequer street, it came on!
I have an Lowe Alpine jacket but needed a new one and went into Patagonia for the 'laugh', as the prices are usually too rich for me. I found most items at 30% off and the rest marked as 'seconds'. If their were flaws I couldn't find them. All were marked as 'outlet prices', I bought a Goretex jacket which retails at 399euro for 120euro! Fleeces that retail for 150 plus were between 30 and 45euro.
I'd hurry, the places was packed with yanks. The secret's out!
