New Series of Seaside Rescue

Written by admin

Coming out of Water

See the Episode Guide for the new series of Seaside Rescue, the great programme on BBC which documents the HM Coast Guard and RNLI of the coasts of the UK.

If you like boats, helicopters and daring insights into rescue, this is for you… the other episodes were great.

Starts this Thursday (January 5th 2006) on BBC One at 8pm. See you there!

Hi I am not sure if anyone can help me but my Grandson who is just under 3years of age was filmed on Polperro beach for the programme Seaside rescue. It was Easter day 2006. He keeps telling me he is going to be on the television but unfortunatly we missed the programme. Is there anyone who knows how I can get a copy of the programme? It would really make my grandsons day.
Thank you to anyone who can help.

Lorna,

I know it was run-run at a lunchtime spit recently. I caught a few episodes.

But as far as I know… anything filmed as recent as Easter might not have been aired yet as the third series started on Jan 5th…

You could contact the BBC?

Hi Lorna,

There was a one hour special that went out on the 26th of July. The series proper won’t hit the screens until early next year 2007 on BBC1. No firm date as yet. He may also hit the cutting room floor so don’t be too disappointed but I hope you enjoy the new series.

Hi 2 local girls have been recued this week by the coast guards after a five hour search. They lost their bearings whilst out walking their dog. They would be interested in appearing on your programme as a tribute to the guys from the coast guard who saved their lives.Who can they contact?

Steve, Drop me an email and I’ll pass on the information you require. I work for HM Coastguard and have the contact you require.

Hi, I don’t wish to post a comment on the blog - it’s a bit cheeky, but I’m an old friend of Graeme Thomson’s from the days when he lived in Bristol - my name then was Sue Pearson, I’m now Sue Martin. We’ve lost touch and I’d love to get back in contact with him again - please could you pass on my contact details? I’d be very grateful! Thanks!

i thought this page was alright but if you put more pictures then it would be better
