Missing canoeist on Derg and Down Fishman Found |
UPDATE: search has been called off for the night
A search is underway in Lough Derg in Co Clare for a canoeist who went missing after a boating accident on the lake.
A second canoeist, a woman, has been rescued.
She was taken from the water suffering from hypothermia.

Divers have recovered the body of one of the two men who have been missing since their trawler sank off the Co Down coast on Thursday.
The search for Donal Gibson and Conor Bogue, who disappeared when their vessel the “Green Hill” went down, has been continuing in the area around the village of Ardglass.
The PSNI have said they are trying to establish the identity of the body.
