Petzl Vertex Vent

I tested the Vertex Vent recently. It’s almost identical to the Petzl Elios Class, which I own personally. It’s nice, light like the Elios, and the biggest feature difference is the Vent slider on the sides that allows you to be able to close the venting holes to stop grit, rocks, ice, chippings or wind coming through to your noggin. The helmet itself is stronger also, and can take a bigger smack before cracking. The model I tried out had a visor, which was very annoying and kept breaking off or getting in the way. It’s targeted for the industrial/rescue market, rather than personal.
