Howth Pier Fire |
I went down to take a look at this this morning. Nothing too serious. It was an old fibre glass boat on a trailer had caught fire (NOT on the marina!), and it had burnt the two boats on either side and one aft also. The group of boats are the old yokes on trailers outside the lifeboat station.
Suprised it made the news actually, but interested to how it happened!
Gardai and the Fire Brigade are at the scene of a serious fire at Howth Yacht club in Dublin.
It is understood several boats docked at the marina went on fire, shortle after 6.30am this morning.
There are no reports of any injuries, and Gardai are not treating the incident as suspicious.
