I hate to say it Gina.

But it dosn’t look positive :-( He isn’t mentioned in the news reports, only that the other two hung onto the boat for 3hrs before it sank. It had capsized. If he was wearign a lifejacket, you would expect him to have stayed afloat and the body would have been located.

It’s always sad when you hear a local story.

Im from the fishing village in which one of the four fishermen lost their life. I wish to sent my respects to Jimmy as i personally knew him. He used to sell his lobsters to me. I hope there is better news on Mr. Colfer who has not been found yet! :-(

Jimmy Meyler died of hypothermia. One body still missing. I’m fingers crossed that it isn’t the Arklow Sea Scouts Meyler family. But we’ll hear all about it anyway.

I think the news was reporting this morning that one of the two fishermen rescued last night has died.
