Team Geared Up

Well I know it’s not outdoory, but you may as well read this blog in the best browser possible :-) but there’s a new browser version out, FF 1.5. So I thought I’d let you in on the new features, aside from the boring updates & security stuff!

• The back & forward buttons are cached, so much quicker. yum, no lag on jumping about pre-loaded pages.
• You know those tabs along the top? Well you can drag & drop them now to re-order. Useful.
• Better RSS discovery, havn’t tried this yet. But if you don’t know what RSS is, read my guide!
• If you’re blind, there’s more features.
• Some borked site tool reporter??
• And it’s nicer on a Mac.
• There’s about 1 million other changes too, that I’m not going into.

Eitherway, it’s a nice browser if you havn’t got it.

To Get Firefox, with the Google Toolbar (very worthwhile piece of kit in my opinion!)… Click the dirty big GET FIREFOX with GOOGLE TOOLBAR button on the top right. And yes, I make $1 for every one of you who do :-) just for spreading the good word! Sweet.
