Europes First Pyramid |
James Corbett pointed my in a comment to Europe’s First pyramid as a travel location… well, while I might not be making the trip to this underground supposed structure… I did test the power of Google Earth to try it as a virtual tourist.
By Googling the hill name, I found the nearest town name, to which I googled the town tourist office, who gave me directions from Sarajevo. Flying north to a ‘big down in a valley floor’ I found ‘Visoko’. My suspicions about it were correct, what the photos don’t show is this is a majorly mountainous area, and… the fact there’s a hill there with sandstone 17ft below the soil, makes me wonder… A) How did the sandstone get there, and B) has this Bosnian researcher spent too much time in the mountains.
