Team Geared Up

I had this great comment come in during the week that I’ve been meaning to Podcast but never got around to it, so I’m blogging it now. In this post a columnist makes fun of everest summiteers basically saying he wished he climbed it before a one-armed man did, as it degrades the task.

Well I’m very fortunete here to pull a good google rank, and so the ‘one-armed man’ found it :-) and left a comment. Wow… the power of the web ;-)

I am the one armed Australian that summited.I did so with my Sherpa partner and friend Nima.No rubbish only prayer flags.Minus 30 degrees and wind gusts up to 80km an hour.Was literaaly dying on the way down from pulmonary oedema.The author of the newspaper article is obviously a total wanker and if I ran into him would happily give him a little tap on the chin.Tosser!
