Aileen Mann (23), solo round Ireland |
Aileen Mann is setting off from my own home harbour to do a solo round Ireland trip. While the name sounds very familiar, I can’t picture the face. Unfortunetly the weather today is the worst here in a long time (Leftovers of Katrinas Rain reached the other side of the Atlantic Ocean?!). Anyway, the Geared Up Blog send our best wishes to Aileen and wish her luck in her charity exploits!

Speaking to Live 95FM news, Aileen desribes the boat she`ll be living on for the next three weeks.
‘It`s an MG Classic 700, it`s a 24 foot yacht. It`s got everything that I need for a solo trip. The sails are easy to rig up and put away- there`s no maintenance involved in it.’”
