It was pretty bad weather to set off in, if you can’t navigate for yourself… How do you get ‘lost’ in Wicklow anyway? Maybe easily injured, but lost? Why do people go into the hills without the knowledge to get themselves back out again!!? ffs.

RTE News - Couple rescued from Dublin mountains: “Mountain rescue teams rescued a couple from the Dublin mountains yesterday evening.

The man and woman, who are in their 20s, got lost while walking on Mount Pelier.

The Gardaí, the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Team were involved in the search.

The couple, who were both suffering from hypothermia, were located at around 6.30pm.

The woman was transferred to Tallaght hospital for further treatment.”
