Ok, so I’m not saying that they didn’t land. They did, and I htink it’s absolutely incredible.. but come on guys, with a budget like you have, why employ someones kid to do your PR shot, in paint at home!

The “oval” is the effect of using an exteme wide angle lens, a so-called fish-eye. To get a photo of the underside of the helicopter, taken by a camera attached to the helicopter itself, you would need to use such a lens because the camera is so close to the object it is taking photos of. A fish-eye lens will distort the picture into a barrel shape and leave black corners as seen here.
