Megawat Sinks in Irish Sea |

Philip has now released his side of the story, I was keen not to post anything until I heard it… Photos and full documentation on a linke from this page.
Howth Yacht Club: “On Wednesday 25th May, Philip Watson, Roger Cagney & Brian McDowell were en route from Howth to the Scottish Series on Philip’s Megawat when her rudder-stock snapped, leaving a hole in the hull big enough to take in a couple of hundred gallons of water per minute.
With the boat sinking and a liferaft which failed to inflate, what could have turned into a very nasty situation was saved by the presence of John Roberts’ yacht Quite Correct, which was in the vicinity. “
